Send FlowersAnthony J. "Tony" Vazquez, 61, of Upper Mt. Bethel Twp., PA, passed away Saturday, August 16th, at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, PA. Born: Anthony was born in Manhattan, NY on July 10, 1953, a son of the late Rafale and Sophie (Iasello) Vazquez. Personal: He was the husband of Donna (Valcone) Vazquez, they celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on March 20th. Tony was employed as a laborer for the Laborer's Union, Local 472 in Hackettstown, NJ, from 1988 - 2008. Tony was an avid New York Jets fan and enjoyed to cook. He was of the Catholic faith. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Donna, Tony is survived by two sons, Mark Anthony Vazquez and Christopher Anthony Vazquez, and a brother, Joseph Vazquez. Services: Memorial services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., www.gaffneyparsons.com, "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to charity of one's choice.

My sympathies go out to the whole family. Tony was a great man who I've known almost my whole life. He was one of the hardest workers and a man I looked up to. I'll always remember walking into his house and being greeted with a hug and kiss on the cheek. Always remember the good times and know you have a true man looking over you now.
