Anthony R. Ventura age 89 of Brown City died April 26, 2022. He was born in Detroit to Dominic and Angelina Ventura. Anthony graduated from high school in Detroit and went on to serve in the U.S. Army as a cook. He married Ann Forkum on December 3, 1996.
Anthony retired from Stroh’s Brewery after 25 years as a supervisor of the packaging lab. Prior to that he had worked at Detroit Edison. At one time Anthony enjoyed playing golf and going bowling. He was a member of FOE Club 1269.
He is survived by his wife Ann Ventura, children Anthony (Donna) Ventura, Lydia Ventura, Edward (Rebecca) Ventura, Angelina (Brian) Kretz step children Kimberly Ann (Ken) Konecheck, James Franklin Lackey, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and a sister Mary Ianucchi.
Anthony is preceeded in death by a daughter Pamela Ventura, step-son Rick Williams and siblings Guido, Albert, Louie and Anthoinette.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, at 6:00 pm with viewing and visitation from 4:00 until time of service.
