Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of "Uncle Tony´s " passing. I had Dr. Vetrano for Spanish at LeMoyne College 1979-1983...We all called him Uncle Tony! He convinced me to minor in Spanish after I met my requisite credits of a foreign language. His laugh and smile were infectious. I remember preparing for one of my orals on the novel Bodas de Sangre...I got to his office, we talked a few minutes about the book and then spent the next hour talking about me returning to the Bronx to teach, the NY...

Dear Vetrano Family, Please accept the most heartfelt sympathies of Le Moyne College. We hope the love and memories that you will forever hold in your heart bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

When I was in Skaneateles at the Food Pantry your family was so very supportive. It was greatly appreciated. I am sorry for your loss. It is a hard lonely adjustment.

Dear Kathleen - I am so sorry to learn of Tony´s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Tony was a very special friend for many years and I will always remember him with a smile.

Kathleen I´m very sorry for your loss he was great man Andy Lashomb

As my late husband Carl, always referred to Tony Vetrano as the voice of God. He was lector at St. Mary's of the Lake for many years. When Carl's father died he wanted him to be the lector at his funeral. I remember how he drove his sports car every Saturday through town with Catherine. My prayers go out to Kathleen and her family.

Tony was a friend to everyone he met. I studied at LeMoyne, but not a language major. Tony would always say hello at LeMoyne or in Skaneateles. He was always accompanied by his daughter. I Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss.
