I just learned of Tony's passing, and I am so saddened and shocked. I first met Tony at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital in 1970 where I worked as a secretary for a group of physicians including the chief residents, one of whom was Tony. The faculty and staff had great times in those days, and Tony was at the center of it all - always fun, compassionate and so talented and full of energy. I got to know Tony's family and took riding lessons with Glenna at a stable near their home...

In the midst of the sadness of this great man's passing, I will share one very humorous story. In 1998, our medical school class (of 2000) convinced Professor Dominick Cinti to resurrect the wine course. Dr. Voytovich took it with us, and we had a great 5 weeks while we imbibed the "Wines of France"-Loire Valley, Burgundy, Bordeaux, etc. Our palates were getting sophisticated at this point, or so we thought....At or around the 4th week of the course, Prof. Cinti passed out a wine to taste...

So saddened to hear of Dr. Voytovich's passing. He was a great mentor and his lectures were one of a kind. He was one of the highlights at UConn and will be missed.

sincerest thoughts, love and prayers for the best of the best. He was a joy as well as a mentor to know and work with - wish there were more like him. He will never be forgotten and will always be held as a role model. Glenna and family, a true tragedy, however you have the beautiful life you have with him.
Love,

I'm really to sorry about Dr. Voytovich's death. He was a fantastic physician and lecturer. He was the heart and soul of UCONN Med when I was there.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Voytovich's sudden death. I was fortunate to be his secretary when he became Dean of Students of the Medical School. Tony was such a wonderful man to work for. I remember how important it was for him to learn every student's name and he would make of point of finding something unique about each and every one of them during our "Bagel Breakfasts'". I also recall him writing a script for the annual Gong Show for the Schools, in which he cast me as Trixie and...

Glenna and family, we're so very sorry to hear that Tony has passed away. Tony was a great Dad and passionate physician. Jack will miss talking to him at the gym and looked forward to their conversations. I saw Tony with his faithful friend, Lorna, the day before he went to Vashon. He was looking forward to seeing his family and spoke highly of Vashon. He wasn't looking forward to being in the "sardine can" to get to Washington. When I now travel by air I smile at his apt description of...
