Not sure what to say?

I finally met my cousin (we were 2nd cousins?) while we were both serving in the Army in Germany. We would trade visits (he would visit me, then I would visit him) once or twice a month the last 8-10 months that he was there. He left about 6 months before I did; and then I came down a few times to Tucson (from Phoenix) for visits after I got married (5 months after I got back from Germany). Jerry was a warm person who loved animals (always had a dog) and the outdoors (fishing/hunting). My...

Jerry had a knack for drawing people in with his boisterous laugh. Who could ignore a noise like that? And once he had us in his grip, he kept us amused with his jokes, pranks, and zany antics. But to those who knew him well, Jerry shared his serious side, full of deep thoughts and high aspirations. He showed us how to meet life’s challenges—how to change course, start anew, and come out in a better place. Jerry made our world a better place. And a merrier one, too.

May you...

My wife and I first met Jerry in 2005 after we moved to Silver City from San Diego, CA. We saw each other regularly over the years and we always looked forward to his warm and friendly smile. We were surprised and saddened when we learned he had moved on. We miss him.

I remember Anthony as a kind person with a knowing smile & a certain mischeviousness about him. I attended one year with him at Sacred Heart & completed Salpointe with him. May he rest in peace in the Lord's presence. I am so sorry for this loss.

Tony, you will be missed. My condolences to your family and all of the friends you that remain behind.

Tony in Sacred Heart 8th grade class photo

Those were great years we had growing up with Tony at Sacred Heart & Salpointe. Here's our 8th grade class picture -- see how angelic we were! (My apologies to classmates who thought this picture would never see the light of day). Tony was a great friend, and it was definitely more fun getting in trouble than staying out of it. Go forth on eagles' wings Tony

Nice guy and real cool .Very sorry to all his family

Jerry & I were the teacher's favorites, especially in times of trouble but we survived the trials of Sacred Heart. Sara & I kept in contact with "Jerry" until he moved to NM. I will miss Jerry he had a good sense of humor and loved jokes.

The Salpointe Catholic High School community extends deepest sympathy to Jerry's family and friends. You are in our prayers at this difficult time.
