I am saddened to learn about Gari, yet smile with such dear memories of her dedication to young children in our after school Senior Reading Program at Sheridan School in Lake Forest. Gari joined other Senior volunteers one afternoon a week during the school year with youngsters K-3 to share selected picture books with them.
