I was surprised and saddened to learn of Tony´s passing. We knew each other through our association with Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. He served as Foundation Board member and I, as Trustee. I shall always remember the warmth of his personality and engaging smile. He will be missed by so many. Condolences to his family.

Tony Almeida was a legend! A GOAT. He will be missed- he made everyone smile. Clemson and Montreat memories of Tony and his family are at the top of my list. Much love and many prayers for Margaret and his family during this sad time.

I had the pleasure of working with Tony at Duke's Customer Service Center in Charlotte. He was a force of nature, full of energy & enthusiasm, and a ready, winning smile. My heart and prayers are with his family and all who love him as they navigate this painful time. May the God of all comfort fill and surround each of you with His balm of peace.

Thoughts and prayers to Margaret and the family. Tony was a great inspiration, leader, mentor and friend. He will surely be missed by everyone who knew him.
