Read MoreMy sincere condolences! I learned of Tony's death at a Knights of Columbus meeting earlier this week. I met Tony several years ago in the Knights. Whenever we crossed paths, he always had a warm smile, hand shake and hug. Like everyone that knew him, I will miss him a lot but I know he is resting peacefully in God's hands.

Mr. Blanco,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice for our Country-not just when you served with the U.S. Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars but especially when you were still just a boy on Saipan during WW II living through over 2 1/2 years of the Japanese occupation and then helping our wounded troops during the battle for that island in June of 1944. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
