Not sure what to say?

My girlfriend (now my wife) and I used to eat at Taco Villa every Friday night for years. Tony knew our order by heart and when we came in, he told us our order was being made. Years later, after we married, Tony bought our entire wedding party our dinner! My wife and I ate at Casa Del Rey on most weekends and especially made it a point to eat there on our Anniversary. We always made sure to find Tony and say hi. We really do miss those days and especially the BEST enchiladas north of Mexico!...

Thank you so much to everyone for the wonderful words about my dad. He was a great man and will be missed every day.

So sorry to hear of the loss of this wonderful wonderful man! He was my mentor and first "boss" as a teenager with the SPSD Summer Migrant Program. I loved going to work! His enthusiasm and passion for kids was remarkable.

I am so sorry that I missed the notice of Tony's passing. He was a fine person that along with his family, championed the Mexican community. His smile and humor will always remain in my memory.

Our deepest sympathy to the Olvera family on the passing of Tony. He always had a hug and a smile every time we saw him. We cannot be there in person but our prayers will be with him and the entire family. God bless you Tony.

Class member of 1988, Arthur Hill High School. Mr. Olvera encouraged and supported me throughout my time in high school and college. When you went to visit him in the office, he gave you his undivided attention. Always making you feel special and that you could conquer the world through higher education, studying, and self-discipline. His charisma, the sound of his laughter, and that big personality will be missed. God bless the Olvera family and Ms. Martin.
