Antonio Urso

Antonio Urso, 77, of Bridgewater died peacefully on March 22, 2016. Born in Italy on June 21, 1938 to the late Vincenzo and Maria DiPasquale Urso, Antonio came to the United States 52 years ago and lived in Bound Brook, before moving to Bridgewater and residing there for 42 years. He is the former owner of the Avanti Restaurant in Bridgewater. Antonio loved going out to eat and taking trips to Atlantic City, but he especially loved the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Antonio is predeceased by two brothers, Thomas and Vincenzo. Surviving are his beloved wife Nina Campanga Urso, 4 cherished children, sons Vincent Urso and his wife Perri of Short Hills, John Urso of Flemington, daughters Marie Urso and her husband Peter Santos of Branchburg and Grace Urso of Bridgewater, and 7 adored grandchildren, Joseph, Daniella, Dominique, Brianna, Gabriella and Fabio. A viewing will be held, Thursday March 24, 2016 from 9:00-11:00am at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Route 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876, with a Prayer Service at 11:00am. Burial to follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery and Mausoleum in Bridgewater.
