Aonghus Oakley Ames “Goose” Miller was born on Sunday, June 12, 2005 at home with his family and left the same way today, Sunday, October 10, 2021. He was named after the celtic God of Love. He was a lover not a fighter. Always had a smile on his face and something nice to say.
Aonghus attended Pen Argyl High School, he loved the school and what it stood for. Math, science and History were his favorite classes. He planned to attend CIT for machining and tooling. Anyone who knows him, knows his big smile and generous heart. He taught himself CAD design during covid to help with his 3D printing and designing. He loved all things Marvel and Star Wars. He made and sold para cord bracelets and dog gear to make money to fuel his constant improvements on his 2005 Tacoma. He loved listening to old early 2000 country, as well as a lot of Ryan Upchurch. He had a warm relationship with his little dog Buddy. He enjoyed going to Stone Harbor in the summers and out tanned his sister annually. He loved cooking all kinds of foods, made an excellent pork rub and the best hollandaise sauce. He Was a builder of many things; potato guns, legos, 3d prints. He enjoyed archery, has collection of knives he started when he was two. He was looking forward to being a gunsmith. He took much pride in being the BEST uncle, even trying to out gift his brother. He was either lounging or working in his skivvies or all decked out in his button downs and cowboy boots. If you saw someone in Wind Gap Giant in a kilt, it was likely Aonghus.
He is loved and so missed by his parents Deb Ames Miller and Mike Miller, "The Siblings", Aaron DeFranco and his wife Julie, from Bangor, Catherine Miller from Easton, Chaela Miller and her partner Avery from Pen Argyl, Nica and husband Drew Hoagland from Wind Gap, Liam Miller USMC; he is the proud uncle to Caiden, Lilly, Sage, Henry, Harper and Hank! His Uncle Wade and Auntie Anna, cousins Nico and Alia Ames from Bethlehem, grandparents Gary and Toni Ames of Wind Gap, Charlotte Miller of Bushkill Township. Grandfather Chris Miller passed in 2019 and his friends Cole Engleby, Gavin Schlegel and Frankie and Mila Wasilewski.
Viewing 5 to 7 Wednesday, at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue Pen Argyl. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at his brother and sister's home 186 Rissmiller Lane, Wind Gap at 3pm Thursday. Join us for prayer, song, food and memories of this wonderful young man. Dearest Deb (Mama) My heart was overwhelmed by your latest post. When I first read Ao´s story (Goose), I was captivated by his picture, mourned for such a tragic loss, amazed at all that was accomplished in his life, and drawn to the beautiful love between him and his parents and family. With that first post of pictures, I was drawn to each one. I saved a few of my favorites in my photos, and to this day, as I´m scrolling through my photo gallery looking for something and come across those...

Lillie Brewer, I am truly grateful for your kindness. I appreciate every message of love and encouragement. I must tell you that Ao's dad passed July 27, 2022. It has been a heart wrenching, devastating loss, on top of losing our son. His obituary is here also. Thank you for your kindness.

"Grief, I´ve learned, is really just love. It´s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in the hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go." by Jamie Anderson God´s blessings for those who love and remember Aonghus Oakley Ames "Goose" Miller.
