Not sure what to say?

Sending condolences from the Volunteers at the Palace. Although Aphrodite had stopped ushering back in 2013 she had volunteered many shows with us for about 18 years. And I always enjoyed seeing her smiling face at Glendi also. A truly big, loving spirit.

To the Giotas family, I was also Aphrodite's neighbor on Green St. for nearly a decade from the late 1980 to the late 1990s. During that time I was also a student of her son John at some point during that time. Mrs. Giotas was absolutely an amazing lady and always very friendly. I remember her with fondness. I am saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences go out to the Giotas family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Cousin Dickey was one of a kind. I loved her! My Grandfather Echo Kassaras, said she taught him how to dance. I hope Echo and her and dancing in heaven. She always had a $5 dollar bill for me when I was little and she was just a bright and happy soul to be around. I am sorry for your loss.

To John and the Giotas families, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your mom, Aphrodite. As a newer member of St. George Cathedral the past few years I had a chance to briefly speak with her and say hello and seeing her working in the food tent at Glendi. She was always friendly and smiling. May her soul rest in peace.

I am beyond devastated to learn of your mother's passing. I keep forgetting to check the "obits" daily. I desperately miss my brother's updates on who passed away, because I would have come to the wake last night and funeral today. May her memory be eternal..

Our sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved mother/grandmother. May your memories be eternal.
