I met you in the summer of 1995. Little did I know how much that encounter would change my life. We became instant friends. Either I at your home or you at my home. Playing music and learning how to play the guitar. We decided to start a band and even though it never left your home, it was the best band of all time...lol.
You wanted to be in Down Town Lexington and I in a Horse Barn. You made me push my boundaries and come out of my shell. I will never be able to...

So many memories growing up and playing as children and getting older and sharing stories and sitting by the campfire and being goofy...I will miss you so much apes..thx for everything you stood for and believed in...a great child..mother..sister..girlfriend..and so much more..to me I loved that your were my cousin and great friend..I will love yiu and miss you very much!!

April, in my eyes you will always be the best friend I have ever made, and in my opinion, one of the most reliable and wonderful people this planet has ever been graced with. I know I'll see you again when this life is over, and you'll be in my thoughts for the rest of my life. I love you April, rest in peace my dear friend.

April was a wonderful part of our Lexington community. She had a remarkable clarity of ethical vision -- able to zero in on underlying causes of injustice. She was brave & thoughtful & tireless. Her death is a great loss for Lexington
