She never made a big deal of her success and I never felt less than in her presence. I am so sad to see this tragic news. RIP sweet April. The world is a darker place without you.

It has been so very long since I had seen April but I remember her well from my childhood. Her mom, Sandra, and my mom, Sandy were very close friends. So sorry for your loss.

April cut my hair every six weeks for almost 11 years. In 2009, I shattered my femur and was home for months in a wheelchair. Getting over to the salon was difficult, if not impossible. Also using a sink to wet my hair. So April cheerfully came to my house and cut and colored my hair. In the front yard. With a hose. And me sitting in my wheelchair. We laughed about that ever after. It pains me to know April died so suddenly. Adrienne told me and chills ran through me. I fondly remember April in Alex Sanger elementary. We were in TAG together as well as other classes. She was funny and I was glad to call her a friend. Sending prayers to all the family.
