Dear April, I did not know about your illness until I read your memorial in yesterday's GR Press memoriam. We met every summer to catch up in Grand Haven, but I was in Phoenix last summer and now I know that I missed more than just our date. We will have another chance, my friend, we will meet on the shore, and until then I will cherish the summers that we had in our earthly paradise.

Greg, I just yesterday found out about April. I was so stunned by learning of her passing. Words can not convey properly how sorry I am, my friend. I will fondly remember the times we all spent together. I will also remember April's wonderful energy and spirit. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
