April Denise Reid

April Denise Reid was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 15, 1968, to loving parents Charlotte (Hentz) Reid and Clyde Reid, Sr. April was the third of four children.

April accepted Christ into her life. April lived her life with purpose. She grew up in Webster Groves, Missouri. As a child, she enjoyed playing with her siblings, cousins and friends. April had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing in her high school’s talent shows, family reunions and weddings. After she graduated from Webster Groves High School, she briefly attended college at Lincoln University.

April always had a beautiful, welcoming smile and a wonderful sense of humor.

At the time of her passing, April was employed by Centene where she was a well-respected and dedicated worker.

April’s most important role was as a devoted mother to her four children. Always putting them first, she was happiest spending time with her family. Get-togethers at her home were never to be missed. April enjoyed decorating her home and her flower garden was the envy of the neighborhood.

April will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her mother and father, Charlotte and Clyde Reid, Sr., Four children: Joshua Reid (Maria), Zachary Reid (Jill), Noah Reid and Charlotte Reid. Four grandchildren: D’Andru, Joshua, Jr., Elijah and Lucy Lynn. Four siblings: Roslain Smith, Clyde Reid, Jr. (Lisa), Kevin Reid (Caryn) and Brian Reid (Winkie). Six nephews: Michael Reid, Jamal Reid, Jayson Reid, Jalen Reid, Harrison Reid, and Brian Reid, Jr. Two nieces: Daquana Smith and Sydney Reid. Two God-Children: Quartisha Cole and Jamyia Cole. Two aunts: Kathryn DeHart and Druscilla Brock (George). One uncle: Robert Reid. And a host of cousins and friends.
