Not sure what to say?

Charlie, I miss you, yet so thankful for the many times we shared together since June of '07. The "Good Word" today that comes to mind is "You're free!" And as Jesus declares in Scripture,

". . . you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free . . . if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed!" - John 8:32-36

Chaplain Hummer

Chris and Family,
I never got to meet you but through our many conversations I know how much you loved Charlie. You were blessed to have each other. My prayers are with you in this sad time.
Shelley(Bayshore)

Charlie, I did not know you very well but, in my heart and in my mind I know that you were a great guy. I will never be able to thank enough for all that you have done for my son's Kyle and Austin. they both thought the world of you. You are in my prayers. James Brogle

Charlie, I will always LOVE you! Even though our time together was relatively short we had something not many people will ever get to experience - TRUE, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. We were a family. When I would come home from work frustrated all you had to do was look at me with that infectious smile, kiss me and then everything was ok. Kyle, Austin and I miss you terribly but know you are watching over us. I Love you! Chris

Charlie always appreciated good food. Though we worked at the dealership, I was Charlie's personal chef, and we shared alot of meals together. I even ate off his plate (which everyone knows is a "rare" thing). Charlie let me become "one" of his "Angels." And now in return, and as always, Charlie is my "Angel", flying high and free. Much love to you!

Soc, Im so sorry to hear about Charlie, and also regret that I am not able to attend. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family,

Craig Mackie

I am deeply saddened to hear of Charlies passing. I grew up with his brother Soc but knew Charlie well enough to know he was a great guy. The two things that come to mind when I think about him show his spirit. I remember playing little league football with him. He was a great player but probably better known for his long straight hair that came out behind his helmet. People would always comment that they didnt think girls were allowed to play. The second thing I remember is him riding by on...

Thanks for the fun

There are two of us here in Michigan City Indiana and one in Florida who could definately write a book about Charlie, and our escapades growing up from Stop 14 in Long Beach. The memories are what makes it hard to say goodbye, when it is time. We love you, we always will and we will never forget. Thank you for being a friend, thank you for being a Marine, thank you for the fun. Remember all of us laying on the beach camping out watching the stars, wondering what was up there? Now you know!
