Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to Sherry, Donald, Archie, and especially to my childhood friend, Jeff; and to the entire extended family. Dr. Archie was my doctor (he delivered me into this world!) and my friend. I spent many days and nights in the McIntosh home on Montevista Ave., and I cherish so many good memories of our fun and fellowship over the years growing up in McDowell County. Great men come along only once in a great while - and truly Dr. McIntosh was a great man. It was a privilege to share...

To the family of one of the finest doctors and best human being in the whole world. I was not one of his patients to begin with but had gone to the his office with a sister in law. The office was full as usual because his services were in such high demand. Dr Mcintosh came out and told everyone that he was running a little behind but would get to each one as soon as possible. He then came over to where I was sitting and gave me one of the sweetest smiles and biggest hugs and ask about my well...

Doctor McIntosh delivered my son and was the only doctor who could treat him as a baby and child without making him sicker. He was most caring and loving. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Sherrie, I am so sorry about the passing of Dr. McIntosh. I loved that man. He was one of the best doctors ever. He was kind and treated everyone the same. My heart goes out to you.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. McIntosh. I always admired him when going to high school with Donald, Archie, and Jeff. I know he is in a better place because of the way he lived his life.

I am forever grateful to Dr.McIntosh. He saved my life back in 1959,when I was born with heart trouble(4 holes in my heart to be exact). And he told my grandparents that I had to have openheart surgery imidiately aas soon as possible. Iam now48 and amforever and always grateful to Dr.McIntosh. I know that there's a special place in heaven beside God for all the greatness he has done. Will missyou dearly.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Dr. McIntosh. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God truly blessed us with a wonderful man.

Dr. McIntosh was one of the finest doctors of all times. He loved his patients and it showed. He seemed to be able to cure whatever you had. He delivered my first born child and I will never forget his tender care as he knew I was terrified. He cared for for my child for many years after his birth until we moved away. We thought so highly of him and feel very blessed to have known him. What he gave to Marion and her people will never be taken away or forgotten. Doc we will miss you!

Dr. Archie was a wonderful man. He touched so many lives and his legacy will continue to live on! Thank you for sharing him with all of McDowell County. Our love and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
