Not sure what to say?

Arch used to love attending the Reno Air Races together. I'd pick him up at the San Francisco Airport and we'd drive 5-hrs to Reno, NV to spend days at the races. I just read that this year, 2023, will be the last race because of increasing insurance and other problems, after 60-yrs of the very popular pylon races involving WWII fighter planes. I'd like to think Arch continued to attend if only in spirit. All good things come to a conclusion. I miss Arch and those times like I'll miss...

Archie was a great friend, often calling me coast to west coast to chat about airplanes. We met at the Reno Air Races through our mutual friend, USAF Mig "Ace" pilot and P-51 Mustang racer, Bob Love. Arch and I spent race weeks together telling tall tales. I will miss Arch. He was a terrific guy, a good friend, and with all his flying stories, a fascinating guy. I encouraged him to write his life story and he promised he would. I hope he did. I'm a retired photojouralist now living in...

I stumbled over this obituary, and even if I am half a year late I want to express my condolences to the family and, particularly Patricia. I had the privilege to meet Archie on a few occasions and found him to be an energetic and fine gentleman of the same vintage as my parents.

Archie has always been an engaging, talented, lovable brother-in-law and I feel fortunate to have had him in my life.

I have tried to send my message twice now, but the computer has not cooperated.
Although I seldom saw him in recent years, I was always very close to my big brother. A hole has been created in my life and he will be greatly missed ! Don

My sympathies go out to all of the Baldocchi family. I did not have the pleasure to meet Archie, but I felt a connection to him after meeting up with the Baldocchi family and learning that we shared the same birthdate. His wonderful family and impressive obituary are ample tribute to a life well lived.

Salud!

We will truly miss Archie. Patriot, Friend, Gentleman. Bruce & Gigi Nachman, Miami

Archie's brother, Don, is my uncle. I have fond memories of Archie and his family visiting San Francisco during my childhood. When I picture Archie I see that warm smile and the sparkle in his eyes; I hear his kind voice. Now I imagine him with Archito and other loved ones that have been waiting for him in heaven. I will keep the Baldocchi family in my prayers for comfort and peace.

I was blessed to spend some time with this true gentleman and fine man. It was very special to spend his last Christmas with him. My condolences to good friends Brenda and Peter and the entire Baldocchi family. Archie, may you rest in peace after a long life lived to the fullest.
