Hello, My dad, aged 100, just sent me some recollections from his time in WWII. One of the stories mentions Archie Childers. I have a strong hunch that they served together in Italy. Hope to hear from you. -Mark Lawton 971 340 7335

My dear Childers family,I am so sorry to hear about your loss of AC. I'm still in AZ & do not often get news form your area, and, this is so sad. AC was a very friendly & sweet man and, I'm sure he will be missed terribly.

Nancy, Wendy, Sherry, Scott, Dale, and Derrick (and of course, the rest of the family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Archie (A.C.). I will always remember him and his sweet spirit. He was a very kind and easy going man. I guess he had to be with all you kids. . . and all your "adopted" friends. I'm sorry that I didn't do a better job of keeping in touch. I hope you know that I think of all of you often and remember all the special times I had with your family. I don't know...

Wendy, Nancy & Family,
My thoughts are with you all during such a difficult time. May God comfort you and give you peace.

Wendy & Family,
