Not sure what to say?

I'm so sad to learn this --- Arch snd I were great friends and always on the same page about everything. So many things were going on, granddaughter's wedding, etc. and we didn't talk as often. I tried to call today, got a message that call wouldn't go through, and had a horrible feeling something had happened. I googled his name, and saw the obituary--- just heartbroken!

Dear Eric and family.
Your Dad was such a special person. I first got to know him when I worked at Good Shepherd back in the 80's. His kind compassion and dedication to helping others was so evident Then my husband and I had a chance to stay connected to him by seeing him at church. We hadn't seen Arch in quite awhile and because we travel out of the area so frequently we weren't sure how he was doing. We were blessed to have known him. We know how much he loved you and how proud he...

So sorry to hear this news. Archie was a joy to work with as a Deacon and hospital ministry provider. I

Eric and family, my deepest condolences to you and your family. I have worked with your dad for years at First Presbyterian Church and then at Grace Church Bethlehem. He was always so kind and friendly and so easy to work with. We spoke on the phone quiet a bit too and he always replied to my email when I had questions. I will miss him a great deal.... My thought and prayers are with you and your family. Yovita Wooden

Please accept my sincerest condolences at this very sad time. I served with Archie as a deacon and always loved our conversations and his sense of humor. He was a great man and he will be missed greatly.

To the sons and daughters in law and any other relatives,
I was sorry to find this surprising bad news today.
I hope that your sorrow is brief and my condolences assuage some part of the pain.

Archie and Jane were kind and welcoming to us when we moved into the neighborhood. At that time, Jane was quite ill and Archie was completely devoted to her care. His kind and gentle spirit will be missed.
