This MAN needs to be honored by ME! "Budd" was MY Daddy even though we weren't blood. I long for him to be by my side. I'm back "home", Budd. I miss you so very much. Thank you, Captain, for allowing me to be your "Skipper" for all those years we spent together. You made so many great accomplishments in life, but MY greatest is that YOU chose to love me and be by my side since we met when I was two years old until your death. I love you and miss you so much. I have so many wonderful memories of "Budd". He was extremely loving and helpful to my young daughter and me. We spent lots of time with him in the 1970's. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix. I think of Budd whenever I see a white haired man in a white convertible, dashboards loaded with anything and everything,a man tailgating -(it deepened my prayer life), a man in a white captain's hat, a man intentionally out driving during the height of any kind of storm, a man who can really...

I will always miss the man that was truly my father image. I loved him deeply. He always encouraged me in every area of my life and never let me think that there was something I couldn't do that a man could. He was the most loving man to me. . . I will miss him as my tears stream down my face. He brought my mother and me much joy!
