I had the pleasure of working and carpooling with this wonderful lady for a number of years. She was a beautiful person. always kind and very humble. I did not know about the blue ribbons for her cakes, but I am not surprised. She taught me a lot about baking and shared some of her recipes. I met Ardella at the AARP group we both belonged to and the other senior meeting that we both attended and she was such a sweet person to everyone. Always so pleasant and a smile always. My heart goes out to the whole family. May God comfort and bring peace to you all. With my deepest sympathy.

Alice, Carolyn, and Clark, and family, I will always remember your mother as one of the sweetest ladies I knew. I remember having dinner at your home in Chambers Hill, and she was so gracious. I am so sorry for your loss, but am thrilled that she lived such a relatively active and healthy life well into her 90's. What more could any of us hope for? Still this is such a significant loss...
