Arden James Goodine

I simply cannot find the words to describe this loss. My Dad made everyone laugh. His magic consumed me, even as an adult. He worked hard and played just as hard. He was devoted the the Toronto Blue Jays. He was determined to get the most out of his life. My Aunt Terry tells me he was preparing to have an hydrolic lift fitted on the car to go fishing before he passed away. He didn't let things get him down.
He was firm with me, but stood behind me despite some not-so-good choices.

Even though I have not met Jamie or Lynn, Lynn and I had exchanged some email a few years back. It was clear to me that Lynn has her father's heart of gold. To Jamie, Lynn, Terry, Richard, Joan Ann, Wayne, Valerie and Brenda, my deepest sympathy. From reading Ardie's obituary, I see that he gave everyone a nickname. I now know why he called me Lindsay :) I guess I should have known that, as Mom was always referred to as Bungolian !

My heart goes out to all of you...Ardie was just such a joy to have in our lives...and he was so lucky to have his siblings to help him during his sickness. I for one will keep him in my heart forever.
