Not sure what to say?

Dear Virginia,
What a sweet photo of Ardith, She looks just like Aunt Ruth.
I just heard out about your sister. isn't it sad that we have become such strangers after our close-nit childhood. It was nice to read all the sweet comments about her, since I knew nothing about you or Ardith or all your brothers. Since our mother left us (in 1960) most communication between our families was very slim . Then when Bruce and I moved to the East coast,(in 1965) it was really gone. I am so...

My Brothers:

I just want you all to know how much you meant to me in my life. From the early days of my looking up to the athletic prowess of Phil, to Kim with his wit and humor, making me laugh harder than I can ever remember, Dave governing the safety zone of our numerous free-for-all games, Rick hauling me around in his Datsun to get hamburgers, Randy and his sense of humor, Mike with his unbounding loyalty as a friend, and James' friendship. And of course, the countless...

Dear Cousins,
I was saddened to hear of my dear Aunt Ardith's passing. She has always been my idol. I have never forgotten her sweetness, example, generosity to me as a young girl, as well as our continued connection in later years. A treasured memory was one weekend when I was nine, when she made a dress (blue and black plaid with a peter pan collar). I was amazed that a dress could be made in one afternoon- I loved that dress. I also loved her-she was the epitome of a wonderful...

We send our love with deepest regret that we will be in California the day your wondrous Mom will be honored. Ardith DeLaMare was a woman of greatness and graciousness and generosity and kindness. Our lives have been blessed by our association with her and with all the remarkable DeLaMare family. We send our love and sympathy and gratitude for such a great influence on our lives.

Dave and Kayla,
I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. My thoughts are with you. God bless you and all of your family.

I"ll never forget all the great times I had with your mother. Her home-made bread, sewing, and Laual get togethers are treasured memories. I have thought of her often since hearing of her illness. My prayers are with you and your family. I can't think of a kinder more gentle person than you mom.

Sorry to hear of her passing, but now she is in a better place with others that she loves. My thoughts are with you, her family.

I am so sorry to hear about your dear mother passing away. I loved her and think of her every now and then. She was a great neighbor and loving young women's leader. I still have a pin cushion and doll dress that she made for me. I love your family and wish you peace at this time of loss. Sincerely, Jana Bennett Moffitt
