Ardith L. "Rusty" Smits

Rusty was one class lady, always had a kind word for everyone, and enjoyed life to it's fullest. We were blessed to have known Rusty here in Gulf Harbors. To her family, we send our love and sincere sympathy upon your loss. Try to remember all the good times you had together; we do.

Rusty you will be so missed.You came into my life at GHC were you lived. I enjoyed our talks and laughter. When you met Teresa you welcomed us in your heart like a mother would. The grandbabies loved you so very much. We love you and lookforward to seeing you in Heaven.

I loved our phone conversations and our letters. We are so glad we spent time with you in Florida in 2012. Our memories will keep our hearts smiling. Now you can rest with grandpa. We love you. Norm has so many great memories of you. We wish we could attend the services.

Rusty was someone always young at heart. I'll always remember that she was one of the people who encouraged me to take summer art classes many years ago .. . She was always ready to try her hand at something artistic . . . someone who loved her family and her God with all her heart!
Someone who will always be remembered. I'll think of her rejoicing with her Savior
