Arek was our neighbor on Trafton Road for twenty years and our sweet cherished friend for all the time we knew her. We loved visiting her garden, tasting her rice wrapped in grape leaves, her tabouli, and her Armenian cookies. Her quiet simple ways made it a pleasure just to be in her company.
Arek had only kind words for others...a rare quality in any person. Her gentle spirit and soft-spoken manner will be greatly missed by us and everyone who knew her.
