Not sure what to say?

I was one of Han's students at Colgate Rochester Divinity School during the late 80's. Han & I connected on an emotional level because my father's family endured imprisonment in Soviet camps following WW2. Han empathically knew & understood my families story of suffering. Han was hugely instrumental in my academic & professional life as a Pastor of 30 years & now as a Chaplain in clinical settings. His warmth, his wisdom, his faith, his intelligence & heart for ministry will never be lost...

I was so sorry to hear of Han's death. He has been my Spiritual Director for 18 years, and was truly a gift from God. My life will not be the same without him in it. Sending prayers and blessings to all his family. I hope to join you in March for his service.

One of the most influential people in my life. Rest in peace.

Han was one of the closest friends of my life. He helped me survive very difficult times. I miss him terribly. My sympathy to all the family.

My heartfelt sympathies to the Van Den Blink family for the loss of someone you loved and cared for. May the memories of those days gone by, sustains you and warm your hearts in the days and years ahead. May the God of peace and comfort be with the entire family and friends. Hosea 13:14 can help you cope during this difficult time of grief. My deepest condolences to all.
