Not sure what to say?

Dear family of Ariel: She was a friend of my mother's (Gertrude Khuner) for many years in Berkeley and I knew her by extension. More recently I knew her through the art work she did for Berkeley Opera. I loved this work and loved knowing her during that time. I just saw this page a few minutes ago. I was thinking about Ariel and wondering if she was still on the planet. My condolences on her death. She's someone I will never forget.

Dear Chryssa,

Ariel was such a special person, such a unique, magnetic, intriguing personality. She was my favorite person out of my years at Berkeley. We made masks together, she loved my acting, and I adored and admired her. She opened her house to me and my wife for a summer. She combined powerful love with penetrating judgment. I always regretted that time and tide pushed our careers to develop on opposite sides of the country. Please accept my fondest condolences.

I have nice memories of Ariel in Verona, Italy, and in the US. My condolences to Chrysa and to her sister

Ariel was on the Berkeley Solid Waste Management Commission, and then the State Solid Waste Board....., among other activities..

Dear Sara; My heart goes out to you at your loss. My grandmother was such a powerful person in my life - I still miss her every day. Hugs to you.

Kathy and Chrysa

Ariel was a beloved friend of our parents Carolyn and Cole Williams. Ariel and my mom were college mates at Scripps. I remember sitting in your parents living room and having my picture painted when I was 4 or 5. I ended up as a little girl in a green smocked dress with a square head! We have a few of your moms paintings and would be happy to give them to you if you wanted them. I would love to come to the memorial if you could send me the information about where...
