Over the years, I´ve been treated to many wonderful stories about Dr. Gupta by my dear friend, Mita. Her abiding love for her father and her family is apparent to anyone who knows her, as is her respect for her father´s many achievements and positive impact on the world. He will be remembered. I met Dr. Gupta when I came to the United States in 2009. Whenever I felt confused in class, Dr. Gupta could always see it immediately and check if I had questions. Dr. Gupta was an excellent mentor who was knowledgeable, open-minded, supportive, motivating, and a good listener. Dr. Gupta saw my talent and appreciated it.
