Arla Mae Wood, 87, of Oakland died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Oakland Mercy Hospital.

Arla Mae M. (Thiele) Wood was born Sept. 21, 1924, on a farm southwest of Bancroft to Harvey and Hannah (Leifert) Thiele. She attended school at rural Parks School, Thurston County.
