Aunt Arleen was a person with high ethical and moral standards. Not only did she attempt to set a good example of the value of having a work ethic with focused attention for God and country, she understood equally the lived experience of exhibiting mercy and compassion for the marginalized through not only praying constantly for others but also doing her best with charitable donations through her church for the benefit of the community of faith. Arleen and I were classmates at St. Patrick´s Grammar School and at Bishop England High School. We had many good times together. Rest in peace!
