Arlen was my cousin who had a lot to say; he did like to tell stories. I wish I could remember what he said about our G'Pa Berg who lived in his family home when his Mom was alive. Yes, Arlen was kind. I hope he has a great time with his Mom in heaven.

I worked with Arlen from 1980 up until his retirement as a fellow control room operator at N Reactor. "Flee" was an excellent operator always willing to share his experience with newbies like me and more importantly, he was a genuinely kind man. This won't mean much to anyone who wasn't at N, but he was one of the few willing to take on the trials of learning to operate the Charge Machine, thus keeping our refuelling outages on track. He will be greatly missed.

A great man to have worked with at N-Reator. I enjoyed my talks and friendship with him. Great mentor. Always considerate of others.
