Not sure what to say?

Arlene & I were friends during college at Univ of TX. She was always lovely, friendly, intelligent, sweet & pretty. May she rest in peace. Sending heartfelt condolences to her husband & family.

This is a very difficult time for family and friends, but I will always remember Cousin Arlene´s great big smile and her laugh.

Arlene and I had many classes and activities in high school (Thomas Jefferson). I knew she was teaching at Woodrow Wilson. She was fun and knowledgeable so I'm sure she made a good business person. Blessings to all of her family and many friends. Barbara Teague West

I am so sad to hear this. I was a lucky WWW student(also born in NYC) to have had such an amazing teacher. She has a way of giving you bad news and make you feel good at the same time! She was a gifted human being that choose to share herself with the youth that needed her so much. My condolences to her family.

I am so sorry for your precious loss. May God who is " close to the broken-hearted " provide for your family during the days ahead.

Miss finger gave me a wonderful love of medieval literature as well as Shakespeare. She made it so understandable I really enjoyed being in her class

Arlene and I were classmates at Thomas Jefferson, where I enjoyed knowing her. We had a class together, and shared other activities, and I remember her beautiful smile and energy. Though we lost touch in our adult years, I am so happy to learn about her valuable contributions as a dedicated Educator, and her success as a Business Owner. My Love and deep condolences to her husband, David, and all her loved ones. May Arlene rest in Peace.

Arlene Finger didn´t just teach me English, she taught me what it meant to apply myself to the work at hand. Her smooth style and gentle guiding hand made her a standout among numerous wonderful educators at Woodrow in the 70s and 80s. Godspeed, Arlene! You definitely made your mark on many.

I have thought of her often with much gratitude for the kindness she gifted me my Senior year. God bless her soul!
