A beautiful actress and star of the Golden Era gone forever, but her star will shine on us forever. I have enjoyed seeing her movies and followed her career thereafter. Not only this, I have a couple of her books and have used some of her ideas. She will be missed as an example of her kindness toward people. My condolences to her loving husband, Mark, sons, Lorenzo and Rounsevelle and their families and Carole and her family. May God rest her soul.

Journey To The Center Of the Earth is still one of my favorite movies. I have a fresh widescreen dvd of it. Not only because it is a great movie, but because of Arlene Dahl. Her combination of beauty, strength, and intelligence in her role in that movie is still a pleasure to watch these many years later. Will watch it again this weekend.

I saw a bill board of her when I was 10 and I thought she was the most beautiful. I followed her career. She was an angel
