Arlene Deck

Mrs. Deck, Arlene, was such a grand person. I became acquainted
with Arlene as my customer at Nordstrom.
I recall a first encounter selling her a blue Castlebury ensemble.
She defied her age and had the skirt shortened and it looked fabulous!
Over the years I felt privileged having acquired her friendship.
Several of us gals in the store helped her celebrate her 80th birthday with lunch in the cafe and a special cake. she was admired and loved by many of us.
