Arlene and I met years ago as teenagers working at Eddy Farm. We crossed paths many times in the years after, and I have fond memories of a loyal and vibrant friend who made a profound impression on everyone she met. The word that best describes her is "joyful", although she would laugh and tell me that's a corny thing to say.
My condolences to her family and everyone who loves her.
