Not sure what to say?

I was one of the many student teachers she supervised. Mrs. Loshin did more than supervise. She took me under her wing at Stadley Rough and was instrumental in my being hired for a new opening at Stadley Rough in sixth grade that led me to a career in Danbury Public School. My career lasted from 1972 until 2011.

All I can say is I have been grateful for how Loshins welcomed me into their home in the fall of 1972 Because of Arlene I entered a 41-year teaching career in the Danbury school system. Thank you, Murray and Arlene.

Arlene, thank you for mentoring me into the teacher I was in Danbury for 41 years.

My condolences, may her soul Rest In Peace. Mrs. Loshin was my 6th grade teacher at Stadley Rough School. She had a profound effect on my life. I can truly say because of her impact on my life, I am the professional that I am today.
THANK YOU Mrs. Loshin!

Arlene we miss you. You were the mentor of many, not only of the student teachers you took under your wing, but also your colleagues who benefited from your guidance. You valued innovation and provided stability to those around you. You will always be remembered.

We offer our deepest sympathy to Murray and Donna.

The loss of Arlene, whose friendship Rita and I cherished, the honor of being asked to serve as a pall bearer, and then at the last minute having to decline, all mark her loss more significantly than one would imagine. Our thoughts have been and continue to be with Murray, and Donna, who so bravely complied with Arlene's final wishes. Over many years of working together in what was a very enjoyable and innovative educational environment, we formed a lasting friendship, and she is and will...

Dearest Donna and Murray,
My heart is saddened and heavy knowing that your hearts are saddened and heavy as well. Our years of being neighbors, of spending so many hours together on vacations, at the lake swimming will be remembered as the happiest childhood a little girl could ever have or ever wish for. Please give the rest of the family my love and condolences. Keeping you all close to my heart.
Love,
Marla

Donna, my sympathies on the passing of your mother. May her memory be eternal and brighten the days ahead.
