LOVE, Arlene Mattocks, 84, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harlowe and Lucy Mattocks; brothers, Francis, Raymond and H. Mont Mattocks. She was born on May 25, 1924, in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. She was a longtime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Chesterfield County. Mrs. Love is survived by her devoted and adored husband, David William Love; daughters, Dianna Love and Marcia Love Hillary; grandchildren, P. D. (Paul) Love, his wife, Jennifer, and their sons, Benjamin and Joshua; Amanda Hillary and her children Aubrey, Ethan, and Annabella; Lindsay Hillary D'Orlando, her husband, Jeremy, and their children, Desiree and Gage; and extended family members, Ted Hillary and Lin Boswell. Her life was one that touched many family and friends. Her kind and gentle nature, shared by a smile or friendly tap on the shoulder, could light up the room and warm the heart. Her tenacity and determination was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished for her devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the "bestest Grammy" ever. The family will receive friends at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Richmond, from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 9600 Midlothian Turnpike. Memorial gifts may be made to the Michael J.
