MURRAY, Arlene A. - Of Flint, age 81, died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1PM Saturday, August 30, 2008 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth Avenue in Flint, Father Robert F. Copeland officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Parkinson's Foundation. Visitation 4PM-8PM Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mrs. Murray will be at the church 12:30 Saturday until the time of the service. Arlene was born in Whittemore, Michigan on January 24, 1927. Arlene was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She married Gregory P. Murray on August 20, 1949 in Flint. Surviving are 3 sons, Timothy and wife Wilma of Swartz Creek, Allen of Flint, Dr. Christopher and wife Denise of Alma, 2 daughters, Laurie and husband Ted Yockey of Flushing and Mary Krepp of Flint; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grand-children; sisters, Marian Kurzniak, Lois Urbanik, Ila Greene, all of East Tawas.
