Arlene Teresa Smith

SMITH---Arlene Teresa Smith, age 49, passed on to a better place May 18, 2009 at Jacksonville's Baptist South Medical Center from an aortic aneurysm. She was born March 29, 1960 in Jacksonville, FL to Helen and JC Martin. She has four brothers, Ricky, Robert, Rusty, and Ty, and a sister, Debra. Arlene married young, and had three kids, Rockney, Dustin, and Lindsey. She later divorced and was re-married to the man of her dreams, Buddy Smith, and had her fourth and final child, Seth. Arlene was a wonderful wife, amazing mother, and a perfect friend. She loved many things in life, scrap booking, photography, traveling, cooking, but above all, her passion in life was her family. She was the center piece that kept her family unified and will be greatly missed. She was survived by her mother, Helen Corbett and siblings, Ricky, Robert, Rusty, Debra and Ty; her husband, Buddy Smith and four kids, Rockney, Dustin, Lindsey, and Seth, and her seven grandchildren, Rileigh, Jonathan, Logan, Hannah, Brooklynn, Johnny, and Trevor. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL.
