Arlene Tacker, age 78, a lifelong resident of Skagit Valley, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at her residence. She was born on April 19, 1931 in Mount Vernon, the daughter of William and Alice (Egbers) Schroeder. Arlene graduated from Mount Vernon High School with the class of 1949....

I know her through her son Keith. And that's all I need to know...as my Mom said of him (her best compliment) "he's a peach".

A very sad day & our thoughts & prayers go out to Mr. Tacker & the rest of the family. Mrs. Tacker will be missed, but never fogotten in the Sedro Woolley Branch of Washington Federal. We will miss her rum balls & visits.......Mr. Tacker stop by anytime!

This is a very sad day for the community of Day Creek. Arlene will be greatly missed but not forgotten. Our hearts go out to her family and friends, she will be greatly missed. Our love and prayers are with her.
