I did not have the privilege of knowing Alene "Peg" personally, but have learned a few stories of Peg's love and devotion to the VFW Auxiliary 8955 in her years of service to all the veterans that she has helped along the way. Not only veterans, but her friends and neighbors, and Sisters and Brothers.
