I was lucky enough to care for Miss Arletha while I worked for Brookdale Senior Living. She was such a sweet and wonderful lady. When you provide care for an elderly person, you really start to feel like they are your own family. She was unable to say much by the time I came to know her, but you could just tell she was such an amazing person.

A very special lady has moved to Heaven. I know a wonderful reunion is taking place between "Mom and Dad and Jesus" (and Arnold too) We always thought of them as Mom and Dad Bird. They took in two young kids as neighbors, and always treated us as "their kids".They both will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We spent thirty years together as neighbors and family.
