Not sure what to say?

Stumbled upon an old favorite George Jones song that always reminds me of Arley (for some reason, lol) and it made me smile as it always does. 'He Stopped Loving Her Today' was the song he always requested at Waldo's Night Club. Arley would hang out with my old boss, Waldo "Scottie" Young. Boy, do I miss them both!

Arley Neville,
Just heard about your dad by way of Big Ben. Keep the beauty of him in your heart and he will live forever. He was truely a unique man.

My hear is broken, but I'm lucky to have known Arley Banks. Here is what I loved about him:
Arley didn't show off,
Arley was tough and tender,
Arley was courteous and bold,
Arley was loyal and strong,
Arley was unwaivering, steady and confident,
Arley was a romantic,
Arley was a fantastic dancer,
Arley wouldn't wear anything except jeans, but he wore a suit for me
Arley said 'God Damn' in a way that was so endearing
Arley led the 'pony' beer...

My dearest Mechele, I know I have told you how much your Dad meant to me but I feel like I should share. So many of my memories involve your family, especially your Dad. I will always remember him as a class act who had a zest for life and had an undying love for family and friends. In the past few years I am so grateful to have spent some memorable times with you and Arley. I will always see his smiling and loving eyes in your children and his giving nature in you. Thanks for the memories...

So very sorry about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Just know he is at a better place and is still watching over the kids he loved so much.

Mechele,
Your daddy's looking down and watching over you and I know he's very proud of how strong you're being. Take comfort in knowing how much everyone loved him and that he will never be forgotten. We love you so very much!

I keep looking at Arley's obit and not believing he's gone. Now he's with Earl and I'm sure still after it.My best wishes go to Mechelle and Neville.

I left San Antonio in 1997. Too many years in the Bar Biz. Lost contact with so many wonderful friends. ARLEY was one of them. Sad to read this. I'll have a chilled adult beverage in his honor. YES, please let me know about the CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE. Condolences to his family members and friends. Safe passage to the hereafter ARLEY.

Arley was my friend, I thought the world of him. Didn't get to see him to much after I moved away but anytime I was in the area I made a point to go by. My sincere condolences to the family. Someone let me know about the celebration of his life.
