Arline R. Sholty, age 92, of Brick, NJ passed away on March 5, 2025. She was born and grew up in Newark, NJ, lived in Bloomfield, NJ and
then moved to Brick, NJ twenty-five years ago. Arline was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Sholty.
Surviving Arline are her son, Art Sholty and his wife Maria Brett; she is also survived by her grandchildren, Amelia and Liam.
A viewing for Arline will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 1 pm to 4 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Hwy 88 Brick, NJ 08724. A
funeral home service will be celebrated at 3:30 pm. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Arline’s name to

Arlene was a dear friend of my parents Samuel & Rosalie Bernardo...We spent a lot of time with her & Artie & Chip growing up. She was a very sweet lady who loved the Lord so much...She will be deeply missed by me Sharon Wright (Bernardo) & my sister Karen Mangravito. Sending my deepest condolences to Chip & his family. May she rest in the peace of Christ, forever.
