Arlo Ammon

Arlo A. Ammon, 68 of Fargo, ND, passed away Friday, May 16th 2014 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. He was born to Albert and Lenora (Kohlman) Ammon on September 5th, 1945 at Harvey Hospital. Arlo graduated from Martin High School in 1963. On June 21st, 1963 Arlo was united in marriage to Theresa Hoffart and the couple moved to Fargo where he worked for Northern Improvement doing construction. He also spent time as an over the road truck driver for various companies until his retirement in 2007. Arlo is survived by his wife of almost 51 years, Theresa of Fargo, ND; two daughters, Andrea (Wallace) Scheen of Carrington, ND and Tammy (Shannon) Brend of Fargo, ND; two grandkids, Amber Scheen of Fargo, ND and Anthony Scheen of Valley City, ND; one brother, Arlan (Janice) Ammon of Jamestown, ND as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one granddaughter, Emma Brend. Visitation: Wednesday, May 21st 10:00am – 11:00am at West Funeral Home in West Fargo, ND. Funeral: Wednesday, May 21st 11:00am at West Funeral Home in West Fargo, ND. A luncheon will be served after the funeral and the burial will follow. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
