Not sure what to say?

We never got to know Arlon real well, as we are missionaries in Japan, and Arlon was a member of our home church, Independent Baptist Church of Ramsey, MN. But when we were back those few times and spent time with him, he was always good for a cheerful greeting and lots of kindness. When my wife's (JoAnne's) father passed away, we flew back to the States for the funeral and needed a car. Arlon generously loaned us one of their cars to drive for nearly a month. We were blessed to know him.

We are very grateful for Arlon’s trip to Tokyo, Japan in 1994 to help build the new center for the Evangelical Free Church Mission. He was an energetic, skilled worker and a great encouragement to the mission family as well as the other members of the building team. His labor of love is not forgotten. We give thanks for Arlon’s joy in serving Jesus.

It is so difficult to lose the good people we love, but what a blessing to know where he is and who he is with. He was a man who loved the Lord, and he loved his family and others. I will always treasure his Christian example. I will miss him.

My sympathy and prayers go out to the Lindner family. Arlon was a very nice man who helped others in their faith journey. May all who mourn his passing find comfort during this difficult time.

We are sorry to hear about Arlon's passing. He was genuinely a sweet-tempered man. Our sympathy to Shirlee and all the children. We are thankful for his service to our country, his love for the Lord, and so very thankful that we will see him again in heaven.

Love from Jeff and Linda Brown

Shirlee, I only met Arlon once many years ago. You and I worked together for 10 years at Ceco. I am so sorry for your loss. I have thought of you 2 often. Prayers and hugs to you and your family.
