Armand H. Couture

Armand H. Couture, 75, of East Hartford, died Wednesday, (December 26, 2001) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Jeanne (Levesque) Couture. He was born in Fall River, MA and lived in East Hartford for many years. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He was employed at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford for 33 years, retiring in 1993. Besides his wife, he is survived by a step-son, Raymond Gendreau of New Milford; three grandsons, Raymond, Keith, and Jasen Gendreau, all of Fall River, MA. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were private. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Callahan Funeral Home, 1602 Main St., East Hartford has charge of the arrangements.
