Not sure what to say?

Its been decades since I left Armands lab as a newly minted PhD in 1974, off on my own. And over all those years, those decades between then and when I finally retired from my own career, as an emeritus professor, Ive frequently looked back and remembered Armand, all the many things he taught me that have served me well over my own career, all the things he did to help me in other ways, and the tremendous debt of gratitude I owe him for those and many other things. Ive thanked him for much...

I met Armand in the 7th grade and his intellect and thirst for knowledge were evident at that young age. You had a special husband and father. My deepest sympathy.

Dear Ramona, Johnathan, and Christopher,
Nooshin and I are deeply saddened by this terrible loss. Armand was a truly unique human being who will be missed very much for a very long time. He made an indelible mark on me and profoundly affected my life for the better. Nooshin and I will never forget the kind and warm hospitality he and you, Ramona, extended to us so recently, and we thank you for taking us into your extended family. There will never be another Armand, and there are no...

Ramona and family,
Having known Armand for several years as a colleage in the reproductive medicine industry, we will miss Armand's thoughtful insight. We also valued a working relationship with him in the AATB.
Truly, a "Southern Gentleman", he will be fondly remembered by us.

Dear Ramona
Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Armand. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the children.
We'll always remember that sweet smile and kindness.

Dear Ramona: Deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family from Glenda and me. Armand has held a special place in our heart since since we had the pleasure of knowing and associating with him in both Trinity's ACS Sunday School class and at MOWW meetings he was able to attend. I especially enjoyed his comaraderie and assistance as an adult leader at the annual MOWW Youth Leadership Conferences. We are sorry that we are out-of town and will not be able to attend the funeral. May...

We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. May God Bless and keep you
as you go through this hard time.

My deepst sympathy to Armand's family. He was a high school friend at Provine in Jackson and always deeply admired for his intellect and compassion. Ironically, his pastor preached at my church in Dalton last Sunday. What a source of comfort his faith and life will be to everyone.

Dear
Ramona: Deepest sympathies and condolences to you and the children from Jeannie and me. Armand has held a special place in my heart since I had the pleasure and privilege of working with and learning from him way back in 1969. Were it not for Armand's zeal, knowledge, mentorship and, especially, his patience and caring, I never would have made it to where I am today. I have him to thank for my career, and so the
family I've been able to cherish since I left Augusta. He became to me...
